Hi dear,
In 2001 my wife and I (52 and 61 now) went to Nepal with backpacks and only an air plane ticket in our pocket.
In Kathmandu we went into a trekking agency and to make a long story short, we met Dhruba Adhikari as our future guide.
Two days later we were on the way to Pokhara and Naja Pul where we jointed the trail towards Muktinath (Upper Kali Gandaki)
Dhruba arranged for everything : all transport arrangements, trekking permits etc, porter, a lodge every new day, meals and even walking sticks we had not at that time. I want to put the accent on a very important thing when trekking : Dhruba dit walk our rhythm and not the other way !This is a good thing if you want to finish your adventure with not too much injuries of all kind.
One day I was ill and he managed to have garlic soup made especially for me ; he waited patiently 24 hours until I felt better and that I was able to carry on.
He gave us also a good feeling about mountain security, skills and knowledge of other local people and the region itself.
We can only but recommend the services of this honest man and his actual agency i.e.
